BUYERS GUIDE

At the start of your journey to find the perfect residential home, we advise considering four main aspects carefully:

Is park living right for me?

Park living offers a great lifestyle choice for retired or semi-retired people. The homes are single storey and low-maintenance, with lower running costs than a traditional bricks and mortar property.

Park living doesn’t only offer financial benefits, but quality of life too. Our residents love the community spirit of the parks, forging great friendships with neighbours, and often holding events and activities that encourage regular socialising.

Our parks offer a safe and secure environment, with on-site park wardens, allowing our residents to enjoy their retirement in a community of like-minded people.

1

Which park shall I choose?

Here are a few things we advise you consider when choosing a residential park:

  • Family and loved ones – our residents often choose parks close to their families and loved ones or a park near their current location
  • Local amenities – consider the amenities that are important to you; groceries, vets, pharmacy.
  • Lifestyle – our residents have chosen their parks based on the kind of lifestyle they’ve always wanted. From the rural countryside of Haveringland Hall Country Park, to the market town of Watton in which Redhill Residential Park lies, the decision on how you wish to enjoy your retirement plays a big factor in choosing a park.
2

What kind of park home is for me?

We work closely with the UK’s leading park home manufacturers to provide our residents with a choice of high quality park homes. All homes can be customised to your specification, even as far as being able to design the layout of your chosen home. There is a wide range of styles and sizes of homes available, and our team will be happy to talk you through all your options, and assist you through the process.

Budget will also be a large factor in deciding on your home, and we’re here to help. We have finance and part exchange schemes available that make moving into your new home as easy and quick as possible.

3

Are there any other costs?

There are several ongoing costs when moving to a park home. Just like a bricks-and-mortar property, you are responsible for paying council tax (band A) and utility bills.

There is also a pitch fee that goes towards the maintenance and upkeep of the park.
